Discretionary Full Blue

Rifle shooting is a sport that demands exceptional concentration and a strong mental approach.

About the club

Rifle shooting is a sport that demands exceptional concentration and a strong mental approach. The club competes in several rifle disciplines throughout the year: both Smallbore (at 25 yards) and Fullbore (Target Rifle and Match Rifle, from 300-1200 yards). Rifle is a sport where gender does not impact performance and everyone competes together. It is inclusive to all levels of experience and we welcome enquiries regarding the accessibility of Rifle.

The club welcomes new members of all experience, including complete beginners, and caters for those with greater accessibility needs. There are opportunities to compete throughout the year, including against Cambridge in multiple annual Varsities, and against other universities in BUCS and the Universities' Long Range.
