Boxing

Boxing is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Boxing.

The OUABC is a fun, inclusive club which caters for both experienced boxers and beginners, offering the chance to keep exceptionally fit, develop technique and to compete. The club competes against Cambridge in an annual Varsity match, against other universities at the British University Championships (BUCs), and throughout the year, including in the annual Town vs Gown Boxing Match which we host. Club members have the opportunity to compete on boxing shows throughout the year, including the annual Varsity Match against Cambridge which this year will be held in the Oxford Town Hall. Our women's team continues to grow as one of the biggest in the country, previously having come top at BUCs. Regardless as to whether one wants to compete or not, come join us and give boxing a go!
