Cheerleading is inclusive to all genders and levels of experience including from a range of dance and gymnastics backgrounds, and we welcome enquiries from those with a disability regarding the accessibility of Cheerleading. The club competes in an annual Varsity match against Cambridge and in national competitions. Cheerleading also runs an inter-college competition.
Cheerleading involves a variety of skills such as stunts, jumps, tumbles and dance which is eventually all fit into a 2 ½ minute routine- choreographed to showcase months of training.
The Oxford Sirens are the university's competitive cheerleading squad and we take part in both national competitions and Varsity each year. Some members have a background in gymnastics, dance, parkour or trampolining but many are beginners who we train up to stunt, dance and tumble.

Cheer Cuppers takes place in Trinity term each year. The club provides training sessions for cuppers teams in preperation for competition so no experience is necessary. To get involved talk to a member of the club or your college sports rep.
